  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) pasta sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the manicotti shells in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of mozzarella cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, egg, and basil; mix well.
  4. Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture using a spoon.
  5. Spread half of the pasta sauce on the bottom of the baking dish; arrange filled shells on top and cover with remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
