Ingredients
- 8 ounces manicotti shells
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1 jar (26 ounces) pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the manicotti shells in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of mozzarella cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic, egg, and basil; mix well.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture using a spoon.
- Spread half of the pasta sauce on the bottom of the baking dish; arrange filled shells on top and cover with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
