  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11×7 baking pan with foil or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; mix well.
  4. Combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended. Gently fold in chopped apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
  6. For the glaze, melt butter in a saucepan, add maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; stir until smooth.
