Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sweetener, and pepper. Add grated ginger, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and pureed apple; mix well.
- Place chicken quarters in a resealable bag or bowl. Pour marinade over the chicken, ensuring even coating. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange marinated chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for about 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), flipping halfway through.
- Let the chicken rest briefly before serving. Optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
