Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of your choice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot; cook pasta until al dente per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add seasoned chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream; bring to a gentle simmer while stirring for about 3 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth; season as desired.
- Return chicken to the skillet along with the drained pasta; toss to combine well.
