- 1 cup salted butter (cut into cubes)

- 1/2 cup salted butter (for frosting)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- Fresh fruit (berries, kiwi, banana, mandarin oranges, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the salted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts; mix until combined.
- Gradually add the baking powder and flour until fully incorporated.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- For frosting, beat together room temperature butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Frost each cooled cookie generously with cream cheese frosting and top with assorted fresh fruits.
