  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Microwave softened cream cheese until very soft; set aside.
  2. Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F). Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté chopped onions in the same skillet until softened, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, add cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
