- 1 English cucumber
- 8 slices white bread
- 2-3 ounces chive and onion cream cheese (softened)
- Fresh dill (optional)

Instructions
- On a cutting board, slice the English cucumber as thinly as possible. A mandoline slicer can help achieve uniform thickness.
- Arrange the cucumber slices on paper towels, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and let rest for 5 minutes to absorb excess moisture.
- Spread softened cream cheese over 4 slices of bread.
- Layer the cucumber slices on top, adding extra salt, pepper, and fresh dill if desired. Top with the remaining bread slices.
- Cut off crusts from all sides and slice each sandwich into quarters.
