Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon vegan gelatin (for firmer texture)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream, sugar, and orange zest over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat; stir in orange juice and vanilla until well combined.
- Place dark chocolate in a mixing bowl; pour the warm cream mixture over it and let sit for a few minutes before stirring until smooth.
- If desired, dissolve vegan gelatin in warm water and mix into the chocolate blend.
- Pour into serving glasses or ramekins, filling three-quarters full.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours or overnight to set.
