- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Make an indent in each cookie for the caramel filling.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center. Let cool slightly before filling indents with caramel sauce.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled cookies; let set before serving.
