- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup salted sweet cream butter
- 4 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (chopped)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chopped bittersweet chocolate and salted butter, stirring until smooth; let cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and cocoa powder.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla; whisk until fluffy.
- Slowly add the cooled chocolate mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined, then gently add half of the floured semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
