  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin (for salsa)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (for salsa)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded beef and mashed potatoes; add diced tomato, chopped onion, jalapeno, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Take one tortilla, place a spoonful of filling in the center, fold it into a half-moon shape, and gently press to seal.
  4. Fry each taco in hot oil until golden brown on both sides (about 3–5 minutes per side).
  5. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
