Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 12 oz sirloin or ribeye steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear each side for 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; add minced garlic and honey to the skillet, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in soy sauce and red pepper flakes; let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta with the steak and sauce mixture in the skillet; toss well to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or basil before serving.
