Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: slice the flank steak against the grain and chop the vegetables.
- Marinate the steak in soy sauce and cornstarch for about 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Stir-fry the marinated steak for 3-4 minutes until browned; then add shrimp and cook until pink (about another 3-4 minutes).
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until veggies are tender-crisp.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.
