Ingredients

  • 6 beef sausages
  • 1 large white onion
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 480ml beef stock
  • 400g baby potatoes
  • Butter
  • Dried herbs (rosemary, thyme)
  • 125g diced turkey
  • 3 tbsp plain flour
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp EACH: black pepper
  • 1 beef oxo/bouillon cube

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pan, fry the diced turkey until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. Brown the beef sausages in the same pan and slice them into pieces once cooked through.
  4. Sauté the onion and carrots until softened, then add garlic.
  5. Stir in flour to create a roux, gradually adding beef stock while mixing to avoid lumps.
  6. Combine all ingredients in a baking dish and let sit for 15 minutes.
  7. Layer sliced potatoes on top, brush with melted butter, and season with salt.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden.
