- 6 beef sausages
- 1 large white onion
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 480ml beef stock
- 400g baby potatoes
- Butter
- Dried herbs (rosemary, thyme)
- 125g diced turkey
- 3 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp EACH: black pepper
- 1 beef oxo/bouillon cube
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large pan, fry the diced turkey until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- Brown the beef sausages in the same pan and slice them into pieces once cooked through.
- Sauté the onion and carrots until softened, then add garlic.
- Stir in flour to create a roux, gradually adding beef stock while mixing to avoid lumps.
- Combine all ingredients in a baking dish and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Layer sliced potatoes on top, brush with melted butter, and season with salt.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes until golden.
