Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) box red velvet cake mix plus required ingredients (eggs, water, oil)
- 8 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Powdered sugar (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the ganache by chopping the chocolate and mixing it with heated heavy cream until smooth. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin tins with cupcake liners.
- Prepare cake batter as per box instructions and fill each liner halfway.
- Scoop chilled ganache into small balls and place one in each filled liner.
- Bake for 20-23 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the side comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before serving, sprinkling with powdered sugar.
