Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased or parchment-lined 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add in pumpkin puree, eggs, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Create a spice swirl by mixing a small portion of batter with additional cinnamon and nutmeg; fold into the main batter gently.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a bit before transferring to a cooling rack. Cut into squares and enjoy!
