- 1 1/2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups (about 16) vegan marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3 cups (about 24) vegan marshmallows
- 2 teaspoons orange food coloring
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare an 8-inch round cake pan by greasing it with unsalted butter.
- For the base layer, melt 1.5 tablespoons of unsalted butter, add 2 cups of vegan marshmallows and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract until melted. Mix in 3 cups of Rice Krispies and press into the prepared pan.
- For the pumpkin layer, melt 2.5 tablespoons of unsalted butter, combine with 3 cups of vegan marshmallows and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice until melted. Stir in 2 teaspoons of orange food coloring and fold in 4 cups of Rice Krispies. Pour over the base layer and press down gently.
