  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Instant Yeast (1/2 package)
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg (lightly beaten)
  • 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp AllSpice
  • 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Whole Milk
  • 2 cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 large Egg Yolk
  • 1 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it froth for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg; mix until combined and knead for 5 minutes.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled (about 60 minutes).
  4. Prepare the filling by combining sugars and spices in another bowl.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter followed by the filling mixture.
  6. Roll up tightly from one edge and cut into six equal pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover again to rise for 30 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, prepare the frosting by mixing ingredients until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
