- 1/3 cup Whole Milk (warm to the touch (100-115ºF))
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Instant Yeast (1/2 package)
- 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (melted)
- 1 large Egg (lightly beaten)
- 2 tbsp Light Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
- 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp AllSpice
- 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
- 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
- 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 tbsp Whole Milk
- 2 cups Sifted Powdered Sugar
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 large Egg Yolk
- 1 tbsp Water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it froth for about 5 minutes.
- Add flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg; mix until combined and knead for 5 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled (about 60 minutes).
- Prepare the filling by combining sugars and spices in another bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter followed by the filling mixture.
- Roll up tightly from one edge and cut into six equal pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover again to rise for 30 minutes before baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the frosting by mixing ingredients until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
