- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups diced peaches (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butter (for frosting)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar; let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour in a large bowl. Mix in the yeast mixture until combined and knead dough until smooth.
- Cover and let the dough rise for about one hour until doubled in size.
- Meanwhile, mix diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly over it. Roll tightly from one end and slice into 12 pieces.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for around 25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the frosting, beat cream cheese and softened butter together; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle frosting over warm rolls before serving.
