Ingredients
- 1/4 cup cold water or milk
- 1 1/4 teaspoons unflavored powdered vegan gelatin
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or seeds from one vanilla bean
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine cold water and sprinkle vegan gelatin on top. Let it soften for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla in a medium saucepan over medium heat until just boiling; stir frequently until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, discard the vanilla bean (if used), and stir in softened vegan gelatin until fully dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving dishes and refrigerate for 2-4 hours until set.
- Before serving, add your choice of fresh fruit or sauce on top.
