Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice cabbage into thick rounds, brush with olive oil, and place on the baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and egg (if using). Mix until well combined.
  4. Press the meat mixture onto each cabbage slice to form patties.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes; then add cheese and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted.
