Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, butter, oil, vanilla extract, and hot water.
- In another bowl, mix together oats, flour, baking soda, sugars, salt, and spices.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in your choice of mix-ins.
- Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow cooling before serving.
