Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chillies, drained
- 1 (15 oz) can refried beans
- 2 teaspoons chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped for garnish
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Lower heat and mix in softened cream cheese until melted. Stir in sour cream until smooth.
- Add drained diced tomatoes, refried beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with tortilla chips.
