- 16 ounces heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar (5.25 ounces)
- 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and zest (about one large lemon)
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Increase heat until the mixture boils, then reduce to simmer for about 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in fresh lemon juice and zest until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into ramekins and cover with plastic wrap or lids.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
