- 15 jalapeño peppers
- 12 oz chicken or turkey sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 packages crescent rolls
- 4 oz butter
- kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare jalapeños by chopping off stems and slicing them in half lengthwise; remove seeds.
- In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture and top with a piece of chicken or turkey sausage.
- Unwrap crescent dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Roll each stuffed jalapeño into the dough triangles and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
