- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 cup peach preserves
- Yellow food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extracts; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine this dry mixture with the wet ingredients to form a dough.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Shape small balls of dough around a teaspoon of peach preserves.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden at the bottoms.
- Allow to cool before rolling in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
