  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease/flour a Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the mixture until just combined.
  5. Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a small bowl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the pan, top with half of the cinnamon swirl mixture, add remaining batter, and finish with the rest of the swirl. Gently swirl with a knife.
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm cake.
