  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Red gel food coloring
  • 1/4 cup Oreo cookie crumbs (about 3 Oreo cookies)
  • 6 Crushed Oreo cookie pieces (6 Oreo cookies blended into bite-sized pieces, plus more for topping)
  • 3/4 cup Semisweet chocolate chips (plus more for topping)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and let cool.
  2. Crush Oreos into crumbs and pieces.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  4. In a stand mixer, combine cooled melted butter with sugars until creamy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition along with vanilla and food coloring.
  6. Gradually incorporate dry mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips and Oreos.
  7. Chill dough for 3 hours before forming into balls.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are set.
