  • 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for frosting
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt for frosting
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, ginger powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add molasses, vanilla extract, and egg to the butter mixture; beat well.
