  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 5 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a roasting pan with boiling water.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water to make caramel; cook until golden brown.
  3. Pour caramel into a non-stick cake pan and set aside.
  4. Blend together condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream, vanilla, eggs, and salt until smooth; pour over caramel.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and place it in the water bath; bake for 70-80 minutes until just set.
  6. Allow cooling at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 6 hours or overnight.
