Ingredients
- 4 cod fillets (5–6 oz each)
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1½ tsp fresh grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.

- Optional: For a glaze, simmer leftover marinade in a saucepan until thickened.
- Serve the cooked cod garnished with green onions and sesame seeds alongside your choice of sides.
