Ingredients
- 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp jarred salsa
- 1 1/4 lb ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 3 to 4 diced roma tomatoes
- 4 to 5 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese
- 1/2 oz bag shredded lettuce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and simmer.
- In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, and salsa until smooth.
- Roll out crescent rolls into a rectangle on a baking sheet; spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
- Layer seasoned beef, tomatoes, and shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and add shredded lettuce before serving.
