Ingredients
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper; then add beef broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Let the sauce thicken for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- Add cooked pasta shells to the skillet, stirring well to coat with sauce.
- Off heat, mix in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
