  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook pasta shells until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 4-5 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  4. 4. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce; add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency. Gently fold in steak bites to combine.
