Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower)
- Fresh parsley or green onion for garnish
Instructions
- Season shrimp with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat and sear shrimp for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium; add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream (or half-and-half) and parmesan cheese; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet; toss in the creamy sauce for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Serve over warm rice and garnish with parsley or green onions.
