  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet with olive oil and butter for 3-4 minutes per side. Add minced garlic in the last minute.
  3. Let the steak rest while preparing the Alfredo sauce in the same skillet: melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream and cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Stir in cheeses and Cajun seasoning until melted. Toss in cooked linguine.
  5. Slice rested steak against the grain and serve over pasta with extra sauce.
