Ingredients
- 2 medium chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt (for boiling water)
Instructions
- Season sliced chicken with spices. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
- In a pot of salted boiling water, cook linguine as per package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic. Stir in mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and seasonings; let simmer.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet and add sliced chicken. Toss everything together.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
