- 1 cup softened butter
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ⅔ cup baked and cooled all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp milk or cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread flour on a baking sheet and bake for 3–5 minutes until cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter, salt, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Gradually add powdered sugar and mix on low until incorporated; then increase speed for another minute.
- Incorporate the cooled flour into the mixture on low speed, then mix on medium until combined.
- Add milk and vanilla extract; mix until fluffy.
- Gently fold in mini chocolate chips with a spatula.
