- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a standard loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in whole milk until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- For the topping, mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; sprinkle this over the batter.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
