- 4 pieces Chicken Breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 8 slices Turkey Slices (deli-style)
- 4 slices Swiss Cheese
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place each chicken breast between plastic wrap and pound until about 1/2 inch thick.
- Layer two slices of turkey and one slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder.
- Coat each chicken roll in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and brown the rolls for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- For the sauce, melt remaining butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour until combined, gradually add milk while whisking until smooth, then stir in Swiss cheese until melted.
