- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar

- 1 jar of maraschino cherries
- White chocolate or vanilla candy melts/cherry frosting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt; gradually incorporate into the butter mixture.
- Take about a tablespoon of dough, flatten it slightly, place a cherry in the center, and roll it back into a ball.
- Place cookie balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-22 minutes until lightly browned.
- Let cool on wire racks before dipping in melted candy coating.
