Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 oz rotini pasta
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente (about 9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, then remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream; stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and add Parmesan and mozzarella until melted.
- Return cooked beef to the skillet along with drained rotini. Toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
