Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente (about 9-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, then remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream; stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and add Parmesan and mozzarella until melted.
  5. Return cooked beef to the skillet along with drained rotini. Toss gently to coat everything in the sauce.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
