Instructions
- Begin by blooming the yeast in warmed milk combined with sugar; let sit until frothy.
- In another bowl, mix flour, spices, and salt. Combine this mixture with the yeast mixture along with eggs and vanilla.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about ten minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl to rise until doubled.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, spices, honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly before rolling tightly and cutting into pieces.
- Let cut rolls rise again until puffy before baking at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the frosting by beating together softened butter and cream cheese before adding powdered sugar and spices.
