  • ⅓ cup milk (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare mason jars by washing and drying them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg whites one at a time, then mix in canola oil, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients and gently fold in rainbow sprinkles.
  5. Fill each jar halfway with batter and bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cakes to cool before layering with frosting made from beaten butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, milk/cream, and a pinch of salt.
