Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and butter. Sear seasoned steak tips for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
- In the same skillet, melt additional butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and milk; stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese until thickened; adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, then top with seared steak tips before serving.
