  • 500g flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped onion, and sliced bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the pan and mix in the sauce made from soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until well-coated.
  5. Serve hot over steamed white rice.
