Ingredients
- 500g flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 3 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped onion, and sliced bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan and mix in the sauce made from soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Stir until well-coated.
- Serve hot over steamed white rice.
