  • 250g egg noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • cup beef stock or water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. Marinate the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until tender; drain and set aside.
  3. Mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, light brown sugar, rice vinegar, chili flakes (if using), and beef stock or water in a bowl.
  4. In a hot wok with vegetable oil, sear the marinated beef until browned; remove from the pan.
  5. Stir-fry minced garlic, grated ginger, and broccoli for 2–3 minutes until bright green.
  6. Add the seared beef back into the wok along with cooked noodles and pour in the prepared sauce; toss to combine.
  7. Serve immediately hot.
