Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Water
- 3 large Apples, Peeled & Chopped
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and water. Stir in the peeled and chopped apples.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until boiling. Reduce to low and simmer for about 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
- Remove 1/2 cup of cooking liquid into a bowl. Mix in cornstarch until smooth, then return it to the saucepan.
- Cook on low while stirring until thickened to your desired consistency.
- Serve warm or chilled with cinnamon sugar chips for dipping.
