Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 ounces Cool Whip, thawed (divided)
- 42 ounces apple pie filling (2 cans)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter; mix until well combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish and freeze.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip and spread over the crust.
- Spoon apple pie filling over the cream cheese layer evenly.
- Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and chill covered in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.
