- 2 egg yolks

- ½ cup apple butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer or large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour and salt until just combined.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Roll dough into balls, then coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture before placing them on baking sheets.
- Make an indentation in each ball and fill with apple butter.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are slightly golden; cool on a wire rack.
